SAILING THE MYEIK ARCHIPELAGO – I

Day 1: Arrival at Kawthaung or Ranong                                                                 

Upon arrival at Kawthaung or Ranong Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and representative and transfer to your hotel at Kawthaung. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and enjoy the tranquil rhythms of this sleepy fishing town.

Overnight in Kawthaung

Day 2: Kawthaung – Nyaung Wee Island (115 Island)                                                                      (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by our local guide and transferred to the jetty to start your four night cruise. After immigration clearance, depart from Kawthaung Port to Island No. 115 near Nyaung Wee Island. The Island No. 115 is located 38 nautical miles away from north-west of Kawthaung (Cruising Hr: Approx. 4 hours)

Enjoy the lunch on board as you glide across the pristine seas.

This afternoon, snorkel around the island to observe colorful marine life that surrounds the area around 115 island. Go ashore for a walk around the small, charming island and kayaking through the seas around it. Return to the boat for dinner.

Overnight onboard near the island.

Day 3: Nyaung Wee Island(115 Island)- Ma Gyone Galet(Sea Gypsy)                                      (B, L, D)

Awake for an early morning swim near the beaches of 115 island followed by breakfast on the ship. Afterwards, transfer by long-tail motorized boat for shore visit at Nyaung Wee Island. Take a trek through the island’s thick tropical forest then return to the boat.

Continue cruising to Ma Gyone Galet village, located around 15 nautical miles from Nyaung Wee Island. Here you will have a unique opportunity to observe tradition, culture and lifestyle of ‘Moken’ or Sea Gypsy people. This experience is worth the journey as you will gain valuable insight about the lives of the Monken as you walk around the village and interact with friendly local people.

Return to the boat for a short cruise to this evening’s mooring point. Dinner is served onboard.

Overnight onboard near River No.1 of Lampi Island

Day 4: Ma Gyone Galet (Sea Gypsy) – Nga Mann Island                                                                 (B, L, D)

After breakfast, your day begins with a spectacular kayaking trip along River No. 1 on  Lampi Island. The further you row, the more you will learn about unique and virgin nature of Myanmar Islands in Andaman Sea. Then, hop back aboard the boat and set off to Nga Mann Island.

Enjoy lunch onboard

Cruise through more spectacular ocean scenery as you make your way 8 nautical miles to Nga Mann Island. This afternoon, you will enjoy opportunities for snorkeling around the island and plenty of time to relax on the white sandy beach and swim in the calm waters.
This evening, celebrate your last night at sea with a bon-fire dinner party on beach.

Day 5: Nga Mann Island – Myauk Ni Island – Kawthaung                                                               (B, L)

After breakfast, this morning cruise back to Kawthaung. Relax on board as the boat winds its way through the islands.
Enjoy the lunch onboard

This afternoon, you will have an opportunity to enjoy snorkeling around Myauk Ni Island and a chance to explore the white sandy beaches of this small idyllic island.
Upon arrival at Kawthaung Jetty this afternoon, you will be welcomed by our staff, guide and local representative to assist smooth running procedure at immigration check point. Then, transfer to your hotel.

Day 6: Departure Kawthaung (Mon, Wed)                                                                                           (B)

After breakfast, enjoy your day leisure in the morning. There are several small temples and a local market to explore in town.  Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon (OR) transfer to the jetty to cross the Pakchan River to Ranong in Thailand for your onward flight or on to Phuket.
