TRUE FACE RELIABLY MYANMAR

Day 1:    Yangon - Heho 

Arrive Yangon, and meet our guide at Yangon international airport.
Then you will be taken to domestic flight area of the Yangon airport.  And deliver the flight tickets.
Flight to Heho (tentative timing subject to change without prior notice: 1030- 1140H.)

On arrival to Heho, welcomed by our guide and transfer to Nyaung Shwe by bus.

The bikes will be at disposal for a ride around the town or to Taunggyi depends on your arrival time.

Overnight in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 2: Inle Lake                                                                                                                                                                                (B)


Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning bike trip to Nam Pan village where the boats will be waiting. The ride will take around 3 hours depending on stopping time. If the day’s market is in Maing Thauk or Nam Pan we will leave a bit earlier so that we can stop and visit the market on the way.

Upon arriving in Nam Pan we will meet our boats for a private boat tour of Inle Lake (5 pax/boat) and stop for lunch at a restaurant nearby (client’s account).

See leg-rowing fishermen, the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhone and the jumping cat monastery.

Return to Nyaung Shwe early evening.

Overnight in Nyaung Shwe.

Biking distance: 20-25 KM (flat; 60% sealed roads, 30% hard pack with large stones, 10% dirt track)


Day 3: Inle Lake – Kalaw                                                                                                                                               (B)


Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for a ride toward Kalaw by passing through the Shan Hills.

Arrival to Kalaw in the afternoon.

Biking distance: 65 KM (ups and downs – tarmac)


Day 4: Kalaw – Pindaya                                                                                                                                                 (B)


After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a scenic ride to Pindaya (1200m) through the picturesque countryside of Shan State, passing fields where often people of the Pa O hill tribe with black clothes and colourful orange headdresses are working.

Visit Pindaya’s limestone cave with its maze of chambers displaying more than 8,000 Buddha statues.

Biking distance: 48 KM (easy ups and downs, dirt road and tarmac, - 120m)

Day 5: Pindaya - Mandalay                                                                                                                                          (B)


After breakfast at the hotel, cycle toward the central plain of Myanmar. The group will ride for about 100 KM and do the rest of it by bus.

Arrival to Mandalay in the evening.

Overnight in Mandalay.

Biking distance: 100 KM (easy ups and downs, dirt road and tarmac)


Day 6: Mandalay (Free Day)                                                                                                                                        (B)

Today is a rest day. Free at your own leisure. However, Guide and Bikes are at your disposal. There is no service of boats today.

Overnight in Mandalay.


Day 7: Mandalay - Monywa                                                                                                                                         (B)

Early breakfast at the hotel.

Cycle toward Monywa. The group will ride for about 100 KM and do the rest of it by bus.

Overnight in Monywa.

Biking distance: 136 KM (flat tarmac road)


Day 8: Monywa – Bagan                                                                                                                                                (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Continue the ride southward along the Chindwin river to Bagan. End of the ride at Yesagyo and continue by car/bus to Pakkoku.

From Pakkoku, embark a local boat and sail toward Bagan.

On arrival to Bagan, transfer and check-in to the hotel.

Overnight in Bagan.

Biking distance: 77 KM (flat tarmac road)

Day 9: Bagan – Mt. Popa                                                                                                                                               (B)


After breakfast at the hotel, ride a bike to Mount Popa passing small settlements where men climb up the palm trees to collect the juice of it to make sugar or liquor.
Biking distance: 51 KM (flat - tarmac)

In the afternoon, visit the Taung Kalat by bus.
Mount Popa has played an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history since the earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to the worship of the 37 Nats, the Burmese ancient animist spirits. The view over the Myingyan Plain from the top of the Popa-Taung Kalat volcanic peak is simply breathtaking.

Day 10: Mt. Popa – Kyauk Padaung - Bagan                                                                                                          (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today you will use a different route by heading towards to Kyauk Padaung, which is famous for its jaggery (brown sugar balls from toddy palm) from its surrounding region. Then you will head back to Bagan. The route today is about 2/3 different from the previous day.

On arrival at Bagan, the guide will take the group to visit temples of Old Bagan area.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Day at leisure to visit Bagan on your own. Guide and Bikes are at your disposal. There is no car services today.

Day 12: Bagan – Yangon                                                                                                                                                (B,D)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon.
Tentative timing and subject to change without prior notice: 0840- 1000H.

On arrival at Yangon, you will visit to Kalay Wa Taw Ya Monastery and get the chance to see the lunch activities of hundreds of novices, monks and nuns.

Then you will visit downtown of Yangon to see china town and little India in the afternoon. In the evening, visit the huge Shwedagon Paya, Burma’s holiest religious site.

Dinner at Feel restaurant. (Please note: the dishes at local Burmese restaurant runs out early in the afternoon, because local eats dinner early (from 05:00 to 7:00). If you arrive there later than 06:30, it is possible that most of the dishes run out because most of them are pre cooked in advance.) Alternative will be the local barbeque restaurant adjacent to Feel which is also delicious but open much later in the night.
